2-DAILY INTELLIGENCER JOURNAL, LANCASTER, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6, 1968 J. Fittipaldi, Italy Native, Dies At 74 Joseph Fittipaldi, 74, of 541 Fremont died at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of two months. He had been employed in the finishing department of the J.

L. Clark Mfg. Co. for 38 years before his retirement in 1959. He was a veteran of World War serving with the U.S.

Army. Born in Francovilla, Sul Sinni, Italy, a son of the late Felice and Caroline Ciancio Fittipaldi, he resided in Lancaster 54 years, was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church; Italian American Club; Society Santo Innocenzo; Loggia New Galileo and the 8th Ward Beneficial Association. Surviving are his wife, Mariann Martino Fittipaldi; a daughter, Mrs. Antonette Bleacher, Lancaster; three sons, Vincent Frank J.

and William both of Lancaster; ten grandchildren, four great garndchildren, and a brother, Michael, Francovilla, Italy. W. Morgenthal Dies In York William D. Morgenthal, 91, Bainbridge, died in York Hospital at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after a short illness.

Before entering the hospital, he had been a patient at Yorkview Convalescent and Nursing Home, for two weeks. Morgenthal was born in Wago, York County, a son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Becker Morgenthal. Before retirement, he worked in Bainbridge for many years as a carpenter and custodian Bainbridge Elementary School. was also member of Columbia Commandery 132, Knights of Malta, Middletown. Morgenthal was the husband of the late Estella Morgenthal.

He is survived by two nieces and one nephew. Mrs. Kyle Duvall Mrs. Margaret V. Duvall, 53, formerly of 527 Manor Lancaster, died Sunday in Astatula, Fla.

where she has been living for the past eight years. She was the wife of Kyle Duvall. Born in Port Republic, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E.

Raynes of Port Republic. Prior to moving to Astatula, Mrs. Duvall had lived in Lancaster for close to 30 years. Her husband had been a selfemployed trucker in the Lancaster area. She was a member of the Astatula Baptist Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son, James Duvall, Astaula, four brothers: Morris J. Raynes, Lancaster; James Raynes, Mount Dora, Howard L. Raynes, South Mountain, and three sisters: Mrs. J. Robert Brown, Lancaster; Mrs.

Friday at his home. He had been under the care of a physician. Born in Salisbury a son of the late John D. and Elizabeth Stoltzfus Riehl, he was a farmer and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary L.

Stoltzfus Riehl; and these sons and daughters: Fannie, John Leroy, Omar, David, all at home; Elam, Shipshewana, Amos, Gap RD; Elizabeth, wife of Levi Lapp, Myerstown RD; and Priscilla, wife of Elam Stoltzfus, White Horse. Also surviving are five grandchildren; a brother, Elam Riehl, White Horse; a Sadie. wife of Enos Petersheim, Christiana RD; and these half-brothers and half-sister, Aaron Riehl, Quarryville RD; Aquilla Riehl, Birdin-Hand R1; Stoltzfus, Intercourse; Ephraim Stoltzfus, Elizabeth, wife of Marvin Diehm, Gap RD; and Christian Stoltzfus, Leola RD. George S. Reider George Sylvester Reider, 67, Denver R2, died 8:45 a.m.

Tuesday at Embreeville State Hospital after an illness of five years. He was born in Kleinfeltersville, Lebanon County, a son of the late John and Lizzie Hehnly Reider. He was a veteran of both World War I and II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a carpenter, stonemason and bricklayer.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Miley Reider; two sons, George, Denver R2, and Larry; a grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Heberling, Akron; and Mrs. Mabel Steinmetz, Ephrata. Mrs.

Mary Brubaker Mrs. Mary E. Brubaker, 84, widow of David E. Brubaker, Blue Ball, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after a brief illness.

Born in Farmersville, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Rhoads Burkholder, she was a member of Metzler's Mennonite Church. Her husband died in 1950. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth, wife of Paul M. Martin, Blue Ball; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great, great-grandchild; and a sister, Ann Hoover, New Holland R1. Lizzie R. Spangler, 81, widow of Roberted Spangler, Myerstown Monday at her home after a lengthy illness. Born in Heidelberg a daughter of the late Samuel and Annie Douple Derr, she was a member of the Myerstown Church of the Brethren. Her husband died 17 years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Cora, wife of Clarence Dubble, Myerstown son, Robert, Womelsdorf seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was the oldest living member of Grace United Church of Christ, Eden; and was a charter member of the Auxiliary to the Eden Fire Co. Surviving are a son, Clarence D.

King Lancaster Toni Skillas Dies At 86 Drossos "Toni" Skillas, 86, of 129 E. Vine died unexpectedly at St. Joseph's Hospital at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Born in Kos, Greece, he was a son of the late Anthony and Irene Skillas, and was a resident of Lancaster since 1907.

He formerly operated a shoeshine, hat cleaning parlor and restaurant at the present site of the Watt and Shand Department Store. He built, owned and operated the Buchanan Hotel at 206 N. Queen and he presently ran a shoeshine and bat cleaning parlor at 104 E. King St. He was a member the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.

He was survived by two sisters, Galeope Theofelo and Antela Hazeyaneca, both of Kos, Greece; and two brothers, Gust Skillas, Lancaster, and George Skillas, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mrs. R. Ritter Dies At Age 77 Mrs. Jennie M.

Sipel Ritter, 77, of 25 S. Poplar Elizabethtown, died 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Bailey Nursing Home, Elieabethtown, after a long illness. She was the widow of Roy G. Ritter.

Mrs. Ritter was born in late Edward daughter Flury SiWrightsville, of the pel. She was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ, Lancaster, and Chapter 701, Women of the Moose, Elizabethtown. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Ruth, wife of Wilbur Patterson, Millersville; stepson, Harold B. Ritter, A.

Tuesday Jefferson Medical Center, Philadelphia, after an illness of two weeks. He was the husband of Irene Adams Zimmerman. He was born in Ephrata a son of the late Clayton W. and Minnie D. Kachel Zimmerman and had lived most of his life in the Ephrata area.

Zimmerman was a member of Hope Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ephrata and had been employed as a cutter for the Eby Shoe Ephrata, where he was a member of the 25-Year Club. He had been ill four days. He was the husband of the late Florence N. Brinard Hetter, and was born in Lancaster Junction, son of the late Martin H. and Agnes Seeman Hetter. He had been a resident of caster most of his life and was a retired engineer, employed 38 years by Reading Railroad Co.

Mrs. G. Bosley Succumbs Here Mrs. Isabel Bosley, 411 S. Lime Lancaster, died Tuesday in St.

Hospital. She was the wife of George Bosley and had been a resident of Lancaster for the past 40 years. Born in New Holland R2, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Harriet Yellets Marshall. She was a member of St. Paul's A.U.M.P.

Church in Lancaster. She had worked for five years in Lancaster at the comfort station in Penn Square and had been employed with the Bird-in-Hand Poultry Co. for 15 years. She had also worked for a brief time at the Lancaster YWCA. Besides her husband she is survived by four brothers: Israel Marshall, New Holland; David Marshall, Lancaster; George Marshall, New Holland; Melford Marshall, Narvon R2: and two sisters: Mrs.

Ella Costello, New Holland R2; and Miss Bertha Marshall, Lancaster. Mrs. Effie Peck Mrs. Effie M. Peck, 81, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday at the home of her son, Howard Leffley, at Wendward Way, Mass.

Robb, gave up their Arlington, rented house Tuesday and moved back into the White House temporarily. The White House issued a statement saying they would remain there for "a couple of days" before beginning some -country travels that will wind up when Robb reports to the Marines' Camp Pendleton, on his way to Vietnam.
