The Imps and the Incredibles - Chapter 14: Time for Action (2024)

 
Helen marches through the hallways of the mansion, as she chucks the door open, Moxxie and Millie speed walking behind to catch up, Edna stopping at the doorway saying "come back again, darling! I enjoy our visits!" Moxxie was carrying a bag that held he, Millie and the Parr's supersuits as they hear helen say "how could I be such an idiot! The signs were all there! The mysterious call, the pay, the robots, the super stuff, it was all a set up!" as paces back and forth next to her car, Moxxie and Millie worried for her, before she says "it was all a trap! They lured Bob to the island just so they could build another robot to anticipate his strength! Just like they did with Blazestone! It was all a trap!" Moxxie and Millie are worried, with the latter asking "well, what're you going to do?" Helen stops for a minute, before having a stern look, matching tone as she faces the imps and says "not me, we. you got super powers. They don't know about you. Hell, they probably think i'm dead. We're going to go to that island, free Bob, and stop the mastermind behind all this before he unveils what it was all for"
Cut to the Parr's house. Helen grabs a handbag from the hallway closet as she tells Violet "There's lots of leftovers that you can reheat. Make sure Dash does his homework, and both of you, get to bed on time. Moxxie, Millie and I should be back tomorrow evening. Hopefully. You can be in charge that long, can't you?" Violet is confused by this, as she replies "Yeah. But why am I in charge again?" Helen, not wanting to tell her in full detail, summarizes "your dad's been lured somewhere, i think he might be in trouble. Moxxie Millie and I are going to help" Violet asks, before her mom goes into she and Bob's bedroom "but, why them? They're well, you know..." Helen replies "it doesn't matter if their imps. Heck, i wouldn't even care if they used to be assassins or something. I trust them enough to help me, and I trust them" with that, she walks in. Moxxie and Millie are touched by those words. They were surprised how she guessed correctly they used to be assassins, but Helen didn't care. She nods, signifying what she said was true. Moxxie then takes out the super suits, just to hear "hey, what's that!" they turn to see a surprised Dash point at the suits and ask "where'd you get that, mom?" Helen is shocked by this, and stretches her arm to close the door. Suddenly, Dash appears in the window behind the wall their bed was, saying "you made a cool outfit?!" Helen closes the blinds, and when Dash keeps trying to peak, he continues "hey, are those for us? We all get cool outfits?!" suddenly, Dash speeds through the doorway, shouting "Ha-ha!" as he steals his outfit and speeds to his room to try it on, Moxxie calls out "Dashiel! Come back here now young man!" 
Suddenly, they hear the phone ring. Helen heads to it and answers it, saying "Hey, Snug. Thanks for getting back. Listen, I know this is short notice, but I was hoping that I could get you to–" Helen is cut off when Violet, making herself known as she holds up her suit, asking "what are these?" at that moment, Dash speeds into the scene, wearing his suit, announcing modestly 
 
           
 
 
"look! I'm the Dash!" he then continues, as he looks at himself in the mirror "The Dash likes this, yeah" "just a sec" Helen replies, before she takes Violet's suit, and tells Dash "take that off before somebody sees you!" Violet says suspiciously, holding up Helen's suit "But you're packing one just like it. Are you hiding something?" Millie tries to explain, taking the suit "we can't explain right now, Vi. all we can say is that they're for the mission we're on to-" but as she spoke, Dash snuck up behind his mom, stealing Vi's suit, Moxxie taking notice as he calls his name. Dash hands Vi's suit to her saying excitedly "this is yours! It's specially made!" Violet asks "what's going on?" Helen was under all kinds of pressure, so she was forced to shove the kids out of the room, shouting "your not coming! And we've gotta pack!" before she slams the door behind her. On the other side, Violet asks her brother "what makes you think it's special?" Dash admits "i dunno. Why'd mom try to hide it?" with that, he speeds off. Violet's suspicions increase as she looks at the suit. She turns her hand invisible, and touches it, and with that, the suit turned invisible too! Violet gasps in shock, as she turned her hand visible and moved her hand away, the suit turning visible in kind
Back in the bedroom, Helen folds up she, Moxxie and Millie's suits, packs some super masks, and zips the bag as she says, talking to the person on the phone "Snug, i'm calling in a solid you owe me" in a different location, an office at a runway, Snug Porter, a known pilot, laughs while on the phone 
 
           
 
 
"about time! What's it been uh...fifteen YEARS? Hehehehe. Was starting to get comfortable. Hehehehe. What do ya need?" Helen replies "a jet. What can you get that's fast?" Snug smiles as he opens the blinds, looking at his signature jet, saying "let me think..."
Some time later, Helen drives to the airport. She parks her car, and leads the imps to a runway separate from the main ones, where they could shed their human disguises. They walk up to a snazzy looking jet, as Snug appears, walking up to the group replying "Helen!" "Snug!" the two hug before introducing the imps "Mox, Mills, this, is Snug Porter. My old pilot from my superhero days" Snug says, in a modest tone, shaking Moxxie's hand 
 
           
 
 
"flew good ol' Elastigirl anywhere she needed, from London, to Russia, to the Congos of Africa and the Outbacks of Australia. Pleasure to meet ya" Moxxie replies, smiling at his politeness "well, a pleasure to meet your Mr. Porter. I'm Moxxie, and this–" Millie finishes for him "Millie. Ah'm his wife" Snug takes Millie's hand, and replies "and what a beautiful one you are, ma'am" before kissing it, then turning to Helen "so, what's the mission? Been meaning to fly my favorite passenger in america again after so long" Helen replies "Nomanisan Island" before showing him a paper, showing the coordinates, after memorizing it from the suit tracker, "we need to get their as quickly as possible" Snug smiles, folding the paper, and putting it in his pocket "well Helen, you came to the right guy"
With that, they all get into the plane. Snug gets in the pilot's seat, of course, and Helen takes up the co-pilot seat. Moxxie and Millie sit down on the first seat on the left side, the duffle bag on Moxxie's lap, as they buckle their seat belts "alright, brace yourselves kids, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!" Snug calls out, as he proceeds in the process of starting the jet. He starts the engines, checks to see if everything was in order, and pushes a lever, and the jet proceeds to go forward, rising from the ground, it's wheels tucking in, and with that, it soars through the skies to Nomanisan island

and here it is. Chapter 14. as you can see, i changed up the cutting back to Helen, cause, the her crying about what to do was just, overkill. i mean, she's a super. i mean, wouldn't she want to do something about it besides crying like a baby? i mean, even Edna scolds her for it in the movie. but besides that, another change, was Snug Porter. in the original pitch of the film, he was Elastigirl's pilot from the glory days, who would fly her to her missions, and he was gonna be the one who flies the jet, but was scrapped for currently unknown reasons. so i decided to bring him back, and decided that the end should show Moxxie and Millie meeting Helen's old pilot, showing them just how nice of a guy he was
