Rothe is seeking a Quality Specialist II to provide Records Management Support for IDAS at KSC. in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the
internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. This role is Hybrid in Florida (KSC)Job Description: Knowledge and experience implementing quality assurance/records management and practices and principles. Applies advanced knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Skilled in applying concepts and practices that support survey administration and analysis, data collection and analysis, performance measurement, and reporting. Provides guidance for identification, preservation/storage, protection of records against unauthorized release. Identifies different categories of records; assigns appropriate records number; maintains records files and databases; and participates in records audits. Provides records management training using the electronic systems associated with records management. Generates reports, develops, and implements policies, procedures, and strategies associated with records management. Coordinates disposal, retrieval, and renewal of records.
Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.
Education: BS or BA and 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Requirements: Must provide excellent customer service and work in a Team environment. This position may require work in non-environmentally controlled conditions with periodic physical exertion e.g., climbing, lifting, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.
